improving market through social media


Social media recently has changed into different purpose for some of people. For those who want to sell their product, social media is a precious media.  But the business competition is very fierce, some of small business owner sometimes get lazy or feel it is useless to do it on

social media.  For some people adding friends in your list or if you have social media such as fans page, then you add many of people without knowing do they have same mind with you or are they your target's market, this is sometimes people forgot to remember with the purpose of doing either for only social networking or for selling something. If you want to improve your selling online through social networking, then there are some methods which maybe good to try.



1. Adding more friends
By adding friends the opportunities for spreading about your business information is getting bigger as well. But here is also important to pay attention about your potential costumer. Not all friends which you have added is your potential costumer therefore it is better to make FB fanpage in order to get community who have interest to your product.


2.Market place
Some of social media has an application called MARKETPLACE. It make easier for people who have business by making marketplace, here the seller just uploading the product pictures, then categorize and describe the product.

3. Upload your product image and describe it as clearly as possible. Dont put fake photos or different photos. Give your home address , phone numbers, even your photos to convince your costumer that whatever you sell is truly yours.

4. Make a website which has been integrated into your social media to maximize your market.And make your website appearance is as attractive as you can to attract the costumers. Give your product clear descriptions, how to contact you and how to make payment. Giving a good or potential name for your store is also important but make sure do not make a long name for your store or your product in order to make easier to remembered by your costumers.

5. Join into your community to get more links and to point the potential target from somebody else community or fanpage.

6. Do not " tagging " your product pictures to all of your friends oftenly because maybe for some of your friends will consider it as "spam" and it is quite annoying for some of people. It will be wise to send your product promotions to their email.

7. To update your online store at least once a week.  And it is better to update your fanpage everyday but your ordinary social media at least once a day. Because if you update your post in ordinary social media page  not your fanpage  where not all of your friends in your list become your potential target and then it will bothering for them who use social media only as a social media not as marketplace, so you have to be aware of that.

8. Make a good communication with your consumers by answering their question or asking are they interested in your product and ask what do they like from your product. By communicating with your consumers is also one of method to build trust between buyer and seller. Because online store, the consumers only can see the photos of your product and they dont see you directly face to face, therefore building the trust between seller and buyer is very very important.

9. When you are new in social media business, it is better to submit all the receipt from your consumers to convinced other buyers that you are really trully doing business and not just decieving.

10. Consistently doing your online business because basically to get buyer from online store is easier rather than real store because by online, your range market doesnt have boundary but unlimited. Your store is open 24 hours 7 days a week but it doesnt mean that you have to be infront of your computer 24/7 but be smart, manage your time,for example keep update your facebook and do not just leave it because buyer wont come suddenly without you promote your product that is why,,in this case " consistent" with what you are doing is very important, in order keep giving the new informations to your costumers.
